About BharatBriefly
BharatBriefly is a real-time news intelligence system, built India-first. It watches the day's reporting from established newsrooms as it lands, ranks it for significance, and publishes a short, plain-English brief of each story — what happened, and why it matters — so you can read less and still know more.
"Real-time" is meant literally: briefs go live within minutes of the reporting appearing, thousands of stories a day, every hour of the night included. "Intelligence" is the part a feed alone does not give you — every brief carries a plain statement of why the story matters, and Brief AI is attached to all of them, so you can ask questions instead of only reading answers.
What we are
We are a curator, not a newsroom. We do not send reporters, break stories or conduct interviews. Every brief we publish is a summary of reporting done by someone else, and every brief names that publication and links straight to the original.
What makes it different
- You can ask it questions. Every story has Brief AI attached — ask what happened, what the background is, or why it matters, and get an answer grounded in that story. Most news apps are read-only. This one answers back.
- Breadth. We cover far more of the day than a hand-edited digest can, including regional stories that rarely surface in English.
- Speed. Briefs are published within minutes of the reporting appearing.
- Free, and no account needed. No signup wall, no paywall.
Who runs it
BharatBriefly is an independent project based in India. It is not owned by, or funded by, any news organisation, political party or corporate group. It carries no advertising today.
