120-Year-Old Land Dispute Settled in Andhra Pradesh Constituency

A 120-year-old land dispute in the Prathipadu Assembly constituency of Andhra Pradesh was permanently resolved on Tuesday. Title deeds were distributed to 812 families across Vatticherukuru, Pullatagunta, and Etukuru villages, covering a total of 41.46 acres. Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar stated that the initiative marks the first such permanent resolution of a long-pending land dispute in the state. State Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad noted that similar solutions have been found for longstanding land issues in about 300 villages. Officials also distributed pensions to beneficiaries during the event in Guntur district.
