2028 Volvo XC60 And XC90 Feature Doubled Electric Range

Volvo has announced significant upgrades to its 2028 XC60 and XC90 plug-in hybrid SUVs, focusing on extended battery range. The XC60 now offers an all-electric range of 78 miles, while the XC90 provides 73 miles on a single charge. Both vehicles retain their 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines paired with electric motors, maintaining a system output of 455 horsepower. Additionally, the XC60 includes an updated sensor package with an extra radar sensor and improved 360-degree cameras for enhanced safety. Volvo will continue to offer mild-hybrid B5 and B6 variants for buyers who prefer non-plug-in models.
