29 Copper Spheres Unearthed During House Construction in Amethi

Archaeological authorities are investigating 29 copper spheres discovered on Tuesday in Bhanauli village, Amethi district, Uttar Pradesh. The objects were found by workers while digging a foundation for a new house on the property of Mohammad Iqbal. Each sphere measures approximately 60 cm in diameter and weighs between 9 and 10 kg, featuring distinct fuse holes. Assistant Archaeological Officer Manoj Kumar Yadav confirmed the items are made of copper and appear to be historical ammunition.
