65 Anantapur Teachers Honoured at Best Teacher Awards Ceremony

Anantapur MP Ambika G. Lakshminarayana on Friday said teachers play an invaluable role in shaping society and building the nation's future, addressing the Guru Pooja Mahotsavam and Best Teacher Awards ceremony at the Arts College Drama Hall. The event, jointly organised by the SR Educational Society and Mera Yuva Bharat (MYBharat) under the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, recognised teachers from government and private institutions across the district. A total of 65 teachers received Best Teacher Awards for their exemplary service, dedication and contribution to education. Arts College Principal P. Padmashri, MYBharat representative Bisathi Bharath, SR Educational Society founder Sunkara Ramesh and Indian Red Cross Society vice-chairman Geetha Bala participated in the programme, which began with a lamp-lighting and floral tribute to Bharat Ratna Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary.
