A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered at a secluded location in a village in Pune district on Tuesday. The Pune rural police arrested a 25-year-old local resident in connection with the crime. The victim, a Class 4 student, was alone at home while her parents were at work when she went missing.
