The Aam Aadmi Party has alleged that Delhi Police kidnapped East Delhi MLA Kuldeep Kumar from his residence at 4 am on Tuesday. Party leader Saurabh Bharadwaj claimed the police acted in plain clothes while the MLA was advocating for compensation for a deceased sanitation worker. Protesters had been gathered at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital demanding 1 crore in compensation and a government job for the worker's family.
