AAP and Left Parties Renew Vote Chori Allegations Against CEC

The AAP and CPI(M) have strongly criticized the BJP and its alleged influence over the Election Commission following revelations that the Special Intensive Revision process was approved despite opposition from Election Commissioners. AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal described the voter deletion process as the biggest scam in independent India and demanded the immediate arrest and prosecution of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Kejriwal also called for all elections held in Delhi, Maharashtra, Bihar, West Bengal, and Haryana over the past few years to be canceled and re-conducted. Meanwhile, CPI(M) leader John Brittas wrote to President Droupadi Murmu seeking urgent intervention, stating that the disclosures question the fundamental integrity of the Election Commission. The Left parties have joined the demand for Gyanesh Kumar to be removed from his post.
