· Technology · India Today, Times of India
Accenture has introduced a $29-per-month spending cap on Anthropic's Claude for its employees starting October 1, 2026. The move follows internal findings that many staff members were consuming AI tokens worth over $1,000 monthly. Employees seeking additional usage must submit a Work Breakdown Structure identifying a project or team to fund the remaining cost. The company stated that the policy ensures AI tools are allocated where they deliver the greatest value. Meanwhile, Accenture has expanded its AI and data workforce to nearly 110,000 employees.
