Actor Antara Banerjee was booked by the Government Railway Police after allegedly attacking a Railway Police Force constable with a blade on the Aravali Express. The incident occurred on August 12 following a dispute over a reserved seat on the Surat-bound train. According to the complaint filed by Assistant Sub-Inspector Yaminikant Mishra, the actor refused to vacate a seat for the rightful ticket holder and subsequently assaulted the officer. Banerjee reportedly injured herself with the blade, damaged the coach window, and destroyed the officer's spectacles and phone during the altercation. She was detained and deboarded at Dahanu station before being released with a notice under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.
