Actor Kartik Aaryan has undergone successful knee surgery in Mumbai after sustaining an injury while filming an action sequence for an upcoming sports drama. The project is a collaboration with director Kabir Khan, with whom Aaryan previously worked on the 2024 film Chandu Champion. Aaryan is currently resting at home and is expected to resume shooting for the film soon. This marks the actor's second knee injury on a film set, following a similar incident during the 2023 production of Shehzada. The upcoming movie, which remains untitled, is reportedly inspired by the life of athlete Tajamul Islam and marks Aaryan's debut as a producer.
