· Technology · TechCrunch
AI training-data startup AfterQuery has raised a new funding round that values the company at $3.2 billion. This valuation milestone comes just five months after its $30 million Series A round in April, which valued the firm at $300 million. According to Y Combinator partner Gustaf Alströmer, this marks the fastest ascent from launch to unicorn status in the accelerator's history. The San Francisco-based startup was founded by entrepreneurs who attended Y Combinator's Winter 2025 cohort 18 months ago. AfterQuery works with major technology labs and has named Nvidia, Legora, and Motif Technologies among its customers.
