AI Startup Ema Raises $77 Million in Funding Led by Creaegis

Enterprise AI startup Ema has raised $77 million in a Series B funding round led by Bengaluru-based venture firm Creaegis. Existing investors Accel, Section 32, and Prosus increased their stakes in the round, bringing Ema's total funding to $140 million and quadrupling its valuation from 2024. Founded in 2023 by Surojit Chatterjee and Souvik Sen, the company builds teams of AI agents that automate multi-step corporate processes across HR, IT, and finance. Ema deploys its technology to help companies reduce their dependence on traditional enterprise software and software-as-a-service applications. While major AI labs like Anthropic and OpenAI push into enterprise markets, Ema integrates over 150 frontier and open-source models to provide end-to-end business process orchestration.
