AIADMK Criticises CM Vijay Over UK Investment Trip

Party spokesperson Kovai Sathyan criticized the use of taxpayer funds, noting that one company involved in an agreement is headquartered in Noida. Meanwhile, AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami questioned the trip's focus, citing photographs of the Chief Minister at a motor race in Silverstone. On Monday, Vijay announced a Memorandum of Understanding signed in London between Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd and the Tamil Nadu government for an investment of approximately Rs 11,000 crore.
