AICTE Launches Four Schemes for 2026-27 Academic Year

AICTE Chairman Prof Yogesh Singh launched four schemes — IDEA Lab, MODROBS, Margdarshan and GOC — on October 31, 2026, under the Institutional Development Cell in New Delhi. The initiatives aim to expand practical learning and infrastructure support across districts rather than concentrate on established technical centres. IDEA Lab will enable STEM-based experiential learning through prototype development, while MODROBS funds modernisation of laboratories, workshops and computing facilities. Margdarshan provides institutional mentoring via established and centrally funded institutions, and GOC offers financial assistance for conference organisation.
