The organisation analysed over 300,000 posts on the platform and identified more than 5,500 explicitly racist posts directed at players. The report states that recommender algorithms pushed toxic content into millions of feeds because posts provoking anger generate higher interaction and advertising revenue. Jude Bellingham received the highest volume of racist abuse, while Bukayo Saka and Kobbie Mainoo faced the highest proportion of abuse relative to mentions. An FA spokesperson urged service providers to take necessary steps to ensure a safer online environment free from discriminatory content.
