All Four Lashkar Terrorists In Viral Photo Confirmed Dead
· India · India Today, Zee News
All four Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists featured in a viral photograph taken in a forested area of Jammu and Kashmir have been killed in separate Army operations. The final member of the group, top commander Hashim Moosa, also known as Fauji, was killed in an encounter on Tuesday. The group was responsible for several major attacks in the region, including the October 2024 Gagangir attack and the April 2025 Pahalgam massacre. The photograph, which became a symbol of militant activity in the Valley, was reportedly recovered from the phone of Junaid Ahmed Bhat, who was killed in December 2024. The other two identified members, Abu Talha and Suleman Shah, were also eliminated in previous counter-terror operations.
Why it matters
The elimination of these four commanders marks a significant blow to the Lashkar-e-Taiba network's operational leadership in Jammu and Kashmir.
