All Nine Indian Seafarers Safe Aboard Tanker YARA J in Romania
· World · Hindustan Times, The Hindu, Deccan Herald
All nine Indian crew members aboard the chemical tanker YARA J are confirmed safe after the vessel arrived at Romania's Port of Constanta. India's Ambassador to Romania, Manoj Mohapatra, spoke with Romanian authorities including SAR Romania and MRCC Constanta, alongside the tanker's Company Security Officer. The diplomatic mission assured the crew of full support from the Government of India. In a separate development, three Indian nationals who were rescued following a separate Russian drone strike on the commercial vessel MV Royad Mammadov have departed Romania to return home. The Ministry of External Affairs recently condemned ongoing attacks on commercial shipping in the Black Sea corridor, warning that such strikes endanger maritime trade and seafarers.
