Amazon Joins YouTube Shopping Affiliate Program for Creators

Amazon has joined the YouTube Shopping affiliate program, allowing eligible content creators to include affiliate links directly in their videos, Shorts, and livestreams. YouTube CEO Neal Mohan announced the integration on X, noting that creators will earn commissions on purchases made through these tagged product listings. The partnership expands YouTube's creator ecommerce platform by bringing in one of the largest global retailers. More than one million people have already signed up to participate in YouTube Shopping following a March threshold reduction. The affiliate program has also recently launched in Argentina, Mexico, and the UK.
