Amazon has announced the Kindle Click, a $34.99 Bluetooth remote designed to let users turn pages on compatible e-readers without touching the screen. The compact accessory is intended for reading scenarios where holding or touching the device is inconvenient, such as on a treadmill, in bed, or on a flight tray table. The remote is compatible with all new Kindle devices as well as models released in 2024 and later. The release brings Amazon into direct competition with existing third-party accessories and alternative remotes from brands like Rakuten Kobo and BOOX. The accessory debuted alongside a redesigned Kindle hardware lineup and other additions like a magnetic page-turn cover and charging docks.
