Amazon Upgrades Alexa Plus With Fire TV Hub and Natural Language Reasoning

Amazon is rolling out a major update to its Alexa Plus voice assistant, introducing a dedicated hub on Fire TV devices and enhanced reasoning capabilities. The upgraded assistant will support follow-up questions, threaded conversations, and context-aware queries that account for cultural references, awards, and entertainment history. Amazon is also bringing the Alexa Plus experience to the Fire TV mobile app to handle search and media queries when users are away from their television sets. While some features begin launching in November, wider availability is scheduled for next year. The AI assistant was released in a limited capacity last year before becoming free to all US Fire TV users last month.
