Amina Mohammed to Visit India for UN Cooperation Talks

Amina Mohammed, UN Deputy Secretary‑General, will arrive in New Delhi on 26 August and stay until 28 August to meet senior Indian officials and discuss UN‑India cooperation and sustainable development. She will meet students at the Indian Institute of Technology to exchange views on digital innovation and the Sustainable Development Goals. The visit follows her convening of a global dialogue on artificial intelligence in China and precedes her trip to Ulaanbaatar for the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties on desertification. Mohammed previously visited India in July 2023 and will return to New York on 28 August.
