Union Home Minister Amit Shah has directed security agencies to implement a zero-tolerance policy against infiltration and illegal immigration. Speaking at the 9th National Security Strategies Conference 2026 in New Delhi, he emphasized the increased use of artificial intelligence to combat terrorism and cybercrime. The conference, attended by approximately 850 officers, also addressed the need for standardized operating procedures for AI-based intelligence analysis on the Multi-Agency Centre platform. Additionally, Shah called for intensified efforts to extradite fugitives and the effective implementation of the PRAHAAR initiative to counter radicalization.
