Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his foreign trip to Vietnam while his party protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Speaking in New Delhi after launching Yamuna cleaning projects worth Rs 8,941 crore, Shah predicted that the opposition party would remain out of power for the next three decades. The BJP leadership accused Gandhi of fleeing Delhi after getting tired of protests and alleged he travelled abroad to take classes from George Soros. Shah also dismissed opposition allegations of vote theft against the BJP, pointing to decades-long electoral defeats in several states.
