Anbumani Ramadoss Demands 30% Deepavali Bonus for Public Sector Workers

PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss has urged the government to increase the Deepavali bonus for public sector workers to 30%. He noted that the maximum bonus has remained capped at 20% since 2004. Currently, employees receive between ₹7,000 and ₹16,800 depending on a prescribed wage ceiling. The government has not yet responded to the demand for this upward revision.
