Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar handed over compassionate appointment letters to 27 persons at the Secretariat in Vijayawada on Wednesday, bringing the total number of such appointments to 627. Speaking at the event, the Minister stated that jobs are provided to family members of deceased employees within four months. He also announced that 7,000 energy assistants in Ward and Village Secretariats will receive training for future deployment. The Minister maintained that uninterrupted power supply is being sustained without increasing power tariffs by even a single rupee. Furthermore, he noted that the recruitment of 629 Assistant Executive Engineers will be completed following certificate verification.
