Apple Health App Redesign Offers New Features With iOS 27.2 Beta

Apple has introduced a redesigned Health app in the developer beta of iOS 27.2, featuring a new Insights tab that integrates Activity Ring data directly into the platform. Users wearing an Apple Watch Ultra 3 can also access a new Longevity tab that estimates health age based on underlying fitness data. The updated app requires specific newer hardware such as the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or newer models capable of running Apple Intelligence. This makes the new Apple Health app more restrictive than the Google Health platform, which remains compatible with devices running Android 11 or iOS 16.4 and older.
