Apple Introduces Siri Recap and New Audio Intelligence for Watch

Apple has launched a suite of audio intelligence features for the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, including a meeting notetaker called Siri Recap. This feature uses ambient listening to generate titles, summaries, and key points from conversations, which users can review in the Siri app. The update also introduces Live Rewind, allowing users to replay 15 seconds of audio by double-pressing the digital crown, and a Shazam integration for instant song identification. Additionally, the device can now detect and notify users of specific environmental sounds like sirens, alarms, and babies crying. Apple stated that raw audio is not stored and that the Siri Recap feature does not identify individual speakers.
