Apple Plans Two-Day Creator Event In Los Angeles To Showcase New Macs And iPad Mini

Apple is planning a two-day product showcase for content creators in Los Angeles on October 27 and October 28, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Rather than a traditional live-streamed keynote, the event will consist of hands-on experiences similar to an upcoming session in New York on October 13. Expected hardware announcements include redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models featuring OLED displays, touchscreen support, M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, a Dynamic Island, and a lighter chassis. Apple also plans to unveil a 24-inch iMac powered by the M6 chip alongside an updated iPad mini featuring an OLED display and an A20 Pro chip. The October rollout is expected to mark Apple's final major product launch sequence of 2026.
