Apple Refreshes Mac Mini and Mac Studio With AI-Focused Chips

Apple has updated its Mac Mini and Mac Studio lineups with new 2-nanometre chips designed to improve local AI workload performance. The M6-powered Mac Mini, which skips the M4 generation, features a 12-core CPU and a dual 16-core Neural Engine to support on-device AI processing. Apple claims these upgrades offer up to four times the AI performance of previous models while keeping sensitive data off the cloud. Pre-orders for the new devices begin August 25, with general availability scheduled for September 22. The Mac Mini starts at Rs 99,900, while the high-end Mac Studio includes an M5 Ultra chip with up to 512GB of unified memory.
