Apple to Launch HomePod Mini 2 in New Colors With Updated Design

Apple's HomePod mini 2 will reportedly come in green, pink, light blue, white and black, according to information found in the company's own code base. The original speaker is available in yellow, orange, blue, white and midnight black, with the overall design looking relatively unchanged. This would be the first proper refresh of the HomePod mini since its launch in October 2020, when it originally cost $99 before Apple raised the price to $129. The update is expected to launch this fall, likely coinciding with the official launch of the Siri AI assistant, and may include a new chip given the speaker's six-year age.
