Apple's new fourth-generation Apple TV 4K includes three built-in far-field microphones enabling hands-free Siri activation by saying 'Hey Siri' or 'Siri' during playback. Advanced echo cancellation separates user voice from TV audio to improve request recognition over background sound. The microphones also allow hands-free control of compatible smart home accessories and scenes. Siri AI supports conversational entertainment search and follow-up questions about content, with answers appearing in a compact video overlay.
