Apple has announced the way-generation AirPods featuring enhanced audio quality and lower latency. The new models include active noise cancellation that the company claims is 50% more effective than the previous generation. The base model is priced starting at $129, while an advanced version with on-stem volume control and up to five hours of battery life starts at $149. Preorders begin today with retail availability starting September 18.
