APSPDCL Deploys 2,000 Staff for Cyclone Power Restoration in Andhra Pradesh

Over 2,000 personnel from the Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited have been deployed for round-the-clock power restoration work in West Godavari district. The massive deployment comes in response to severe infrastructure damage caused by consecutive cyclones Arnab and Murasu. APSPDCL Chairman and Special Supervisory Officer Siva Sankar Lotheti stated that teams comprising directors, managers, engineers, and field staff are operating across the jurisdiction of A.P. Eastern Power Discom Limited. APSPDCL is also providing support to expedite repairs in the A.P. Central Power Distribution Corporation Limited jurisdiction centered in Vijayawada. State ministers and the Chief Minister have commended the electricity department's ongoing efforts under challenging weather conditions.
