Arsenal to Face Barcelona and Lyon in Women's Champions League

Arsenal have been drawn against holders Barcelona and eight-time winners Lyon in the league phase of the Women's Champions League. Renee Slegers' side will host Lyon, Benfica, and HB Koge, while travelling to face Barcelona, Paris FC, and Inter Milan. Chelsea will play Paris St-Germain, Roma, and Austria Wien at home, with away matches against Lyon, Hacken, and OH Leuven. Manchester City have been placed in pot three and will host PSG, Real Madrid, and Austria Wien, alongside away trips to Bayern Munich, Hacken, and Inter Milan. The league phase matches will take place between 22 September and 16 December, leading into the knockout phase in 2027.
Why it matters
The league phase fixtures set up demanding European campaigns for English clubs Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City as they compete for the continental title. The matches will determine qualification for the knockout phase play-offs scheduled for February 2027.
