Assam Headmistress to Receive National Teacher’s Award for NEP-2020 Contributions

Manisha Khetrapal, headmistress of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya in Rangiya, Assam, will be awarded the National Teachers’ Award 2026 by the President for her innovations in education and contributions to the National Education Policy-2020. She previously introduced Project DivyaMitra at Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Guwahati, to promote inclusion, and trained principals across Assam through EduLead. Dr. Khetrapal, a PhD in Inclusive Education from Gauhati University, has also worked to enhance student learning opportunities in Northeast India.
