The incident occurred in the Khanapara area at around 1:30 to 2 a.m. on October 2, 2026. Deputy Commissioner of Police Tabu Ram Pegu stated that authorities have questioned people involved in managing the club and collected CCTV footage, but no arrests have been made yet. The identity of the victim remains unknown as she has not come forward to file a formal complaint. A security guard at the building claimed the woman had struck a female bouncer with a beer bottle inside the club before being brought downstairs.
