Audio-Technica has expanded its audio lineup with the release of the ATH-AL5NC wireless open-back headphones priced at $279. The new headphones feature 53mm drivers and support high-resolution 24-bit/96kHz wireless audio through LDAC alongside AAC and SBC codecs. The open-air design reduces heat buildup and clamping pressure while providing a more natural sound presentation. However, the open-back architecture results in sound leakage and lacks true active noise isolation. The battery delivers up to 75 hours of continuous playback with multipoint Bluetooth pairing.
