The sequel opened with Rs 22 crore on Friday, surged by 55 percent to earn Rs 33.75 crore on Saturday, collected Rs 26 crore on Sunday, and added Rs 9.25 crore on Monday to reach a net total of Rs 91 crore. The romantic action thriller benefited from an extended Independence Day holiday weekend and an increase in screening counts from 9,033 shows on opening day to 10,496 on Saturday before dropping to 9,403 on Sunday. Made on a budget of Rs 45 crore, the film has already emerged as a commercial hit while rival release Batwara 1947 saw further declines in ticket sales.
