Bangkok authorities have declared a flood disaster across all 50 districts of the Thai capital following nearly 300 mm of rainfall since Thursday. The flooding has submerged roads, disrupted traffic, and forced residents in several neighbourhoods to evacuate. Governor Chadchart Sittipunt reported that eastern parts of the city are experiencing the most severe conditions, with canal water levels remaining critical. Authorities are operating pumping stations at full capacity and have advised vulnerable residents to seek temporary shelter in hospitals. The Thai Meteorological Department has issued warnings for continued heavy rain in the region.
