BBC to Broadcast 38 Live Serie A Matches This Season

BBC ALBA and BBC Sport have secured rights to broadcast 38 live matches from Italy's Serie A for the current season. The coverage begins this Sunday with Atalanta facing Sassuolo, which will be available on BBC ALBA and iPlayer. BBC ALBA will air 19 games featuring both Gaelic and English commentary, while BBC Sport will stream the remaining 19 matches on iPlayer with English commentary. The broadcast lineup includes several Scottish players currently competing in Italy, such as Napoli's Scott McTominay and Bologna's Lewis Ferguson. This deal expands the broadcaster's European football portfolio, which already includes clips from the Bundesliga and La Liga.
