The BCCI has requested that the Indian Olympic Association ensure no room sharing for players during the upcoming Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. The board plans to fund business class travel for the team and will not seek financial support from the Sports Ministry. Reports indicate the men's team will be accommodated on a cruise ship, while the women's team will stay in a hotel. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia stated the board is prepared to provide its own infrastructure if the organizers' facilities do not meet their standards. The cricket events are scheduled to take place from September 19 to October 3.
