Among those missing is a student from Chhattisgarh, who had messaged a friend shortly before the incident occurred. Emergency responders have pulled 12 people from the site so far, while the death toll has reached seven. Authorities have arrested the building owner and suspended five municipal employees in connection with the tragedy. The facility functioned as a boys' paying guest accommodation and also housed a library, a restaurant, and a tea stall.
