Released by the Information and Culture Department on Monday, the ad featured images of CM Suvendu Adhikari and PM Narendra Modi to promote a coordination meeting at Milan Mela. Opposition leaders from TMC and CPI(M) sharply criticized the depiction, with TMC leader Kunal Ghosh demanding an immediate retraction to prevent any distortion of religious imagery. CPI(M) leader Shatrup Ghosh also posted sarcastic remarks regarding the extra arm on social media. The state government has not yet issued an official response addressing the criticism.
