Bengaluru City Police have arrested two suspects for allegedly stealing luxury vehicles across multiple states using duplicate keys and selling them in Rajasthan. The operation led to the recovery of a Toyota Fortuner valued at Rs 35 lakh in Barmer, which had been stolen from a hotel parking area in Singasandra on June 27. Investigators traced the suspects along the Belagavi-Pune National Highway on July 4, resulting in the arrest of a female associate before the prime accused was captured near Silk Board on July 17. Police stated that the primary accused used sophisticated equipment to forge duplicate keys and disposed of the stolen vehicles in remote areas of Rajasthan including Barmer and Balotra. The accused were previously linked to 21 criminal cases registered across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu.
