Bengaluru Woman Forcibly Taken by In-Laws’ Agents; Three Men Tracked Her Husband for Days

A 21-year-old woman from Bengaluru was allegedly abducted by three men hired by her in-laws, who had been monitoring her husband’s movements for over a week. The men, Rakesh (31), Karan (28), and Ayan (18)—all from Rajasthan—stayed near Majestic and tracked Ramesh (name changed) before forcing the woman into a Hyundai Venue on Magadi Road. Police say the in-laws, including Ramesh’s parents, allegedly threatened her into compliance. The chase after the vehicle rammed into multiple cars, injuring a nine-year-old girl, ended when bystanders intercepted the vehicle and helped the woman escape. She revealed she had married outside her caste and was being forced back to Rajasthan.
