The Jammu & Kashmir Students Association has requested intervention from Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav regarding alleged harassment of two Kashmiri pharmacy students in Bhopal. The students, enrolled at the TRUBA Institute of Pharmacy under the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme, reported being pressured by local residents to vacate their rented accommodation. The association alleged that the students' landlord was threatened with forced entry if the tenants were not removed. Deputy Commissioner of Police for Bhopal Zone IV, Adarshkant Shukla, confirmed that police met with local residents to address the situation. Authorities have sensitized the residents and the landlord against discriminatory practices and confirmed that no direct physical threats have been carried out.
