Bigg Boss Marathi Contestant Divya Shinde Booked For Assault In Pune

Pune city police have booked Bigg Boss Marathi contestant and social media influencer Divya Shinde alongside several others following an assault and extortion complaint lodged by retired government doctor Dr Vidyadhar Gaikwad. According to the FIR filed at Kalepadal police station, the dispute arose after Shinde attended an uninvited event organized by the Karunadeep Foundation and subsequently demanded Rs 5 lakh as a publicity fee. The complainant stated that he had already transferred around Rs 50,000 via GPay before the demands escalated further. On Thursday night, Shinde and multiple associates allegedly arrived at Dr Gaikwad's residence in Nyati Highlands, where they assaulted him with a wooden stick, a belt, and a metal pot. The accused also vandalized the home and threatened to kill the 65-year-old retired medical officer and his son if the remaining money was not paid.
