Bihar Police Arrest Eight After Minors Abused in Jamui

Bihar Police arrested eight individuals in Jamui following the physical and digital assault of two Class 10 students near Marwa Pahad. The incident occurred when a group of youths intercepted the minor girl and boy as they returned from coaching classes, filmed the assault, and circulated the video online. On September 22, the main accused Nandan Yadav sustained a bullet injury to his left leg during a police encounter near Marwa Pahad before being arrested. Police registered an FIR, formed a special investigation team, and booked approximately 120 social media profiles for circulating the explicit video clip. Five adults and three minors are currently in custody as investigations continue.
