London-based entrepreneur James Dacombe has become Europe's youngest self-made billionaire at 25 years old following a breakout investing round. Dacombe is the founder of AI chip-making firm Olix and brain monitoring startup CoMind. Olix raised $312 million from investors, boosting its market cap to $3.3 billion and pushing Dacombe's 30 percent stake past the billion-dollar threshold. Dacombe previously dropped out of high school at age 17 to scale CoMind and later participated in the Thiel Fellowship. The British founder is one of only 11 self-made billionaires under 30 worldwide.
